What does ACL Impex mean?
Being a family-run company, the initials “ACL” come in honor of our founder, the first in a long-lasting bed linen tradition, who passed on his family name to the current generation. Additionally, the term “Impex” was incorporated due to the significant impact of imports and exports on our business.

Do you offer any guarantee?
Our commitment to products of excellence results in the finest linens offered worldwide, but it all starts with the people. Our general product guarantee follows European Union regulations. Furthermore, we always present you with the following guarantees:
- All our products are OEKO-TEX® certified.
- Our Egyptian Cotton™ is certified and traceable, as most of our raw materials.

What kinds of fibers does ACL Impex work with?

Are your fibers and products certified by third-party verification?
Yes! All our products are made in Portugal under strict quality certifications. For instance, the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent certification system for textile products which proves they are free of any harmful substances. See our full list of certifications here.
What separates Egyptian Cotton™ and Supima® Cotton from conventional cotton?
Not all cottons are created equal. Supima® cotton and Egyptian Cotton™ are a superior type of extra-long staple fibers, chosen by the world’s leading home brands to craft luxury products. Known for their strength and softness, these fibers feature a durable, long-lasting weave that maintains its form. Both of them avoid the use of substances that are harmful to the environment and the farmers. On the other hand, conventionally grown cotton requires a massive amount of pesticides.

Can I buy from you if I don’t own a business?
Sadly, no. Our company presents only private label solutions and bed linen for hotels.
What are your order minimums?
We have a minimum order policy in place, which includes two possible settings:
- 25 (twenty-five) units per SKU on our “stocked fabrics” with simple confection;
- 1.000 meters of fabric on custom fabric qualities, colors, and/or designs.
Can you provide a quote in my own currency?
Our quotes are preferably priced in European Euros (EURO), but other currencies are possible and may be agreed on.
What information should I provide if I want to get a quote?
Please include an overview of what your needs are, including the following details:

How does production work?
After selecting our high-quality fabrics at the development stage, our clients can customize any detail, size, color, design, print, monogram, or other components. We are happy to discuss any custom needs you may have. Learn more about our production process here.
Do you offer any care instructions?
We do! There are some general recommendations to make your products last longer, no matter which raw material you choose. Here are six tips:
- Carefully follow the washing instructions on the label;
- Do not dry in direct sunlight;
- If your product is delicate and can be ironed, iron it inside out;
- Avoid aggressive detergents;
- Use less detergent than recommended on the label;
- Use a proper fabric softener, if possible appropriate for babies and small children.
